Human influenza hemagglutinin (HA) is a surface glycoprotein required for the infectivity of the human virus.
The HA-Tag is derived from the HA-molecule corresponding to aa98-106 has been extensively used as a general epitope tag in expression vectors.
Many recombinant proteins have been engineered to express the HA-Tag, which does not appear to interfere with the bioactivity or the biodistribution of the recombinant protein.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:5000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks.
For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Note: Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates.
