Nitric oxide-sensitive guanylyl cyclase is a heterodimeric enzyme consisting of an alpha and a beta subunit.
The enzyme converts GTP into the second messenger cGMP and plays a major role in the cardiovascular system as a receptor for nitric oxide.
Unlike other guanylyl cyclases, GUCY1B2 contains an 86-amino acid C-terminal extension with a consensus sequence for isoprenylation/carboxymethylation.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and ELISA.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:100-1:300ELISA: 1:10,000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
