GATA1 encodes a protein which belongs to the GATA family of transcription factors.
The GATA binding protein 1 plays an important role in erythroid development by regulating the switch of fetal hemoglobin to adult hemoglobin.
Mutations in this gene have been associated with X-linked dyserythropoietic anemia and thrombocytopenia.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation and ELISA.
Other applications not tested.

For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
