The GRB2 associated binding protein 1 encoded by GAB1 is a member of the IRS1-like multisubstrate docking protein family.
It is an important mediator of branching tubulogenesis and plays a central role in cellular growth response, transformation and apoptosis.
Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and ELISA.
Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.

For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
