FEV (FEV, ETS transcription factor) belongs to the ETS transcription factor family.
ETS family members have a highly conserved 85aa ETS domain that binds purine-rich DNA sequences.
The alanine-rich C-terminal of this gene indicates that it may act as a transcription repressor.
FEV is exclusively expressed in neurons of the central serotonin (5-HT) system, a system implicated in the pathogeny of such psychiatric diseases as depression, anxiety, and eating disorders.
In some types of Ewing tumors, FEV is fused to the Ewing sarcoma (EWS) gene following chromosome translocations.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA.

Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000ELISA: 1:40,000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
