特徴
- Eukaryotic initiation factor 2B (EIF2B), which is necessary for protein synthesis, is a GTP exchange factor composed of five different subunits.
- The protein encoded by EIF2B4 (eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2B subunit delta) is the fourth, or delta, subunit.
- Defects in EIF2B4 are a cause of leukoencephalopathy with vanishing white matter (VWM) and ovarioleukodystrophy.
- Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for EIF2B4.
- Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000ELISA: 1:5000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
