Dedicator of cytokinesis protein 2 encoded by DOCK2 belongs to the CDM protein family.
It is specifically expressed in hematopoietic cells, predominantly in the peripheral blood leukocytes, and is involved in remodeling of the actin cytoskeleton required for lymphocyte migration, through the activation of RAC.
Mice lacking this gene show a severe impairment in the migration and homing of lymphocytes.
These mutant mice also exhibited long-term survival of allografts, suggesting that this gene may be a target for controlling transplant rejection.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and ELISA.
Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
