PRKDC encodes the catalytic subunit of the DNA-dependent protein kinase (DNA-PK).
It functions with the Ku70/Ku80 heterodimer protein in DNA double strand break repair and recombination.
The protein (protein kinase, DNA-activated, catalytic polypeptide) encoded is a member of the PI3/PI4-kinase family.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and ELISA.
Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
