CEP41 (centrosomal protein 41) encodes a centrosomal and microtubule-binding protein which is predicted to have two coiled-coil domains and a rhodanese domain.
In human retinal pigment epithelial cells the protein localized to centrioles and cilia.
Mutations in CEP41 have been associated with Joubert Syndrome 15; an autosomal recessive ciliopathy and neurological disorder.
Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, ELISA.
Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
