SLC3A2 is a member of the solute carrier family and encodes a cell surface, transmembrane protein.
The solute carrier family 3 member 2 exists as the heavy chain of a heterodimer, covalently bound through di-sulfide bonds to one of several possible light chains.
The encoded transporter plays a role in regulation of intracellular calcium levels and transports L-type amino acids.
Alternatively spliced transcript variants, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA.
Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
