CD37 molecule encoded by CD37 is a member of the transmembrane 4 superfamily, also known as the tetraspanin family.
Most of these members are cell-surface proteins that are characterized by the presence of four hydrophobic domains.
The proteins mediate signal transduction events that play a role in the regulation of cell development, activation, growth and motility.
This encoded protein is a cell surface glycoprotein that is known to complex with integrins and other transmembrane 4 superfamily proteins.
It may play a role in T-cell-B-cell interactions.
Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, and ELISA.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:100-1:300ELISA: 1:20,000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
