CD200 encodes a type I membrane glycoprotein containing two extracellular immunoglobulin domains, a transmembrane and a cytoplasmic domain.
This gene is expressed by various cell types, including B cells, a subset of T cells, thymocytes, endothelial cells, and neurons.
The CD200 molecule plays an important role in immunosuppression and regulation of anti-tumor activity.
Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, and ELISA.
Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
