CD2 molecule encoded by CD2 is a surface antigen found on all peripheral blood T-cells.
The encoded protein interacts with LFA3 (CD58) on antigen presenting cells to optimize immune recognition.
A locus control region (LCR) has been found in the 3' flanking sequence of this gene.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, and ELISA.
Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
