CBX2 (chromobox 2) encodes a component of the polycomb multiprotein complex, which is required to maintain the transcriptionally repressive state of many genes throughout development via chromatin remodeling and modification of histones.
Disruption of CBX2 in mice results in male-to-female gonadal sex reversal.
Mutations in CBX2 are also associated with gonadal dysgenesis in humans.
Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been noted for CBX2.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, ELISA.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
