The protein encoded by CFLAR (CASP8 and FADD like apoptosis regulator) is a regulator of apoptosis and is structurally similar to caspase-8.
However, the encoded protein lacks caspase activity and appears to be itself cleaved into two peptides by caspase-8.
Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for CFLAR, and partial evidence for several more variants exists.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and ELISA.
Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.

For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
