ADP-ribosylation factors (ARFs) play an important role in intracellular vesicular trafficking.
The protein (ADP ribosylation factor guanine nucleotide exchange factor 2) encoded by ARFGEF2 is involved in the activation of ARFs by accelerating replacement of bound GDP with GTP and is involved in Golgi transport.
It contains a Sec7 domain, which may be responsible for its guanine-nucleotide exchange activity and also brefeldin A inhibition.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and ELISA.
Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.

Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
