Tyrosine-protein kinase receptor which may be involved in the early formation of the chondrocytes.
It seems to be required for cartilage and growth plate development (By similarity).
Phosphorylates YWHAB, leading to induction of osteogenesis and bone formation (PubMed:17717073).
In contrast, has also been shown to have very little tyrosine kinase activity in vitro.
May act as a receptor for wnt ligand WNT5A which may result in the inhibition of WNT3A-mediated signaling.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunofluorescence/Immunocytochemistry and ELISA.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:1000-3000 Immunofluorescence (IF-IC): 1:200-1:500ELISA (peptide): 1:20,000-1:40,000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
