RNF14 might act as an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase which accepts ubiquitin from specific E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes and then transfers it to substrates, which could be nuclear proteins.
Could play a role as a coactivator for androgen- and, to a lesser extent, progesterone-dependent transcription.
Belongs to the RBR family.

Interacts with the ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes UBE2E1 and UBE2E2 and in the presence of testosterone, with the androgen receptor (AR).
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunofluorescence/Immunocytochemistry and ELISA.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000, incubate membrane with diluted primary antibody in TBS, 5% milk, 0.1% Tween 20 at 4°C with gentle shaking, overnight
