特徴

• Rab11a, Rab11b and Rab25 are members of the Rab11 family of small Ras-like GTPases.
• Rab11 (isoforms Rab11a and Rab11b) functions as a key regulator in the recycling of perinuclear, plasma membrane and Golgi compartment endosomes (1,2).
• Despite some overlap, distinct differences exist between Rab11a and Rab11b in both their cellular distribution and functional roles.
• Rab11a is ubiquitously expressed while Rab11b is found mainly in the heart and brain (3,4).
• Like other Rab proteins, Rab11 exerts its function via interactions with Rab11 family interacting proteins (FIPs).
• While there are three distinct classes of FIPs, all appear to share a conserved C-terminal Rab-binding domain that allows Rab-FIP protein interaction.
• When bound together, these proteins are thought to regulate membrane-associated protein sorting (5,6).
• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and ELISA.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000, incubate membrane with diluted primary antibody in TBS, 5% milk, 0.1% Tween 20 at 4°C with gentle shaking, overnight
• Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:200ELISA (peptide): 1:20,000-1:40,000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
• Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
