特徴

• Is able to inhibit all four classes of proteinases by a unique 'trapping' mechanism.
• This protein has a peptide stretch, called the 'bait region' which contains specific cleavage sites for different proteinases.
• When a proteinase cleaves the bait region, a conformational change is induced in the protein which traps the proteinase.
• The entrapped enzyme remains active against low molecular weight substrates (activity against high molecular weight substrates is greatly reduced).
• Following cleavage in the bait region, a thioester bond is hydrolyzed and mediates the covalent binding of the protein to the proteinase.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:1000-1:3000, incubate membrane with diluted primary antibody in TBS, 5% milk, 0.1% Tween 20 at 4°C with gentle shaking, overnight
• ELISA (peptide): 1:20,000-1:40,000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
• Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
