• This gene encodes a neuron-specific RNA-binding protein, a member of the Nova family of paraneoplastic disease antigens, that is recognized and inhibited by paraneoplastic antibodies.
• These antibodies are found in the sera of patients with paraneoplastic opsoclonus-ataxia, breast cancer, and small cell lung cancer.
• Alternatively spliced transcripts encoding distinct isoforms have been described.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Immunoprecipitation, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 0.5-2ug/mlImmunohistochemistry (frozen/paraffin): 5-20ug/mlImmunocytochemistry: 5-20ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Store at -20°C.
