Mediates the voltage-dependent sodium ion permeability of excitable membranes.
Assuming opened or closed conformations in response to the voltage difference across the membrane, the protein forms a sodium-selective channel through which Na(+) ions may pass in accordance with their electrochemical gradient.
Applications:Suitable for use in Indirect Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Indirect Flow Cytometry: 1:25Western Blot: 1:2000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
