Substrate-binding subunit (component A) of the Rab geranylgeranyltransferase (GGTase) complex.
Binds unprenylated Rab proteins and presents the substrate peptide to the catalytic component B.
The component A is thought to be regenerated by transferring its prenylated Rab back to the donor membrane.
Less effective than CHM in supporting prenylation of Rab3 family.
Applications:Suitable for use in Indirect Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Indirect Flow Cytometry: 1:25Western Blot: 1:1000Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:25Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
