ZNF259 binds to the EGFR and is released from the receptor after activation.ZNF259 is essential for cell viability and its interaction with eEF-1alpha contributes to normal cellular proliferation.ZNF259 translocates from the cytoplasm to the nucleus after treatment of cells with mitogens.
ZNF259 accumulates in the nucleolus of proliferating cells.
Loss of ZNF259 caused disruption of nucleolar function, including preribosomal RNA expression.
ZNF259 is an essential protein that is required for normal nucleolar function in proliferating cells.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry.
