Though this gene is located on the X chromosome, it escapes X-inactivation.
Mutations in this gene have been associated with Turner syndrome.
Alternate transcriptional splice variants, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot.
