PSA7L is a component of the spermatoproteasome, a form of the proteasome specifically found in testis that promotes degradation of histones, thereby participating actively to the exchange of histones during spermatogenesis.
The proteasome is a multicatalytic proteinase complex which is characterized by its ability to cleave peptides with Arg, Phe, Tyr, Leu, and Glu adjacent to the leaving group at neutral or slightly basic pH (By similarity).
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
