PI5PA is a Inositol 5-phosphatase, which converts inositol 1,4,5- trisphosphate to inositol 1,4-bisphosphate.
It also converts phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate to phosphatidylinositol 4- phosphate and inositol 1,3,4,5-tetrakisphosphate to inositol 1,3,4-trisphosphate in vitro.
It may be involved in modulation of the function of inositol and phosphatidylinositol polyphosphate- binding proteins that are present at membranes ruffles.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
