MAZ may function as a transcription factor with dual roles in transcription initiation and termination.It binds to two sites, ME1a1 and ME1a2, within the c-myc promoter having greater affinity for the former.
It also binds to multiple G/C-rich sites within the promoter of the Sp1 family of transcription factors.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
