C15orf23 is an essential component of the mitotic spindle required for faithful chromosome segregation and progression into anaphase.
It promotes the metaphase-to-anaphase transition and is required for chromosome alignment, normal timing of sister chromatid segregation, and maintenance of spindle pole architecture.
The astrin (SPAG5)-kinastrin (SKAP) complex promotes stable microtubule-kinetochore attachments.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
