- FEZF1 is a transcription repressor.
- It is involved in the axonal projection and proper termination of olfactory sensory neurons (OSN).
- It plays a role in rostro-caudal patterning of the diencephalon and in prethalamic formation.
- Expression of the FEZF1 is required in OSN to cell-autonomously regulate OSN axon projections.
- FEZF1 regulates non-cell-autonomously the layer formation of the olfactory bulb development and the interneurons.
- It may be required for correct rostral migration of the interneuron progenitors.
- Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Western Blot.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
