EMX1 belongs to the EMX homeobox family.It is transcription factor, which in cooperation with EMX2, acts to generate the boundary between the roof and archipallium in the developing brain.
The protein may function in combinations with OTX1/2 to specify cell fates in the developing central nervous system.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
