CRY2 is a blue light-dependent regulator of the circadian feedback loop.CRY2 inhibits CLOCK NPAS2-ARNTL E box-mediated transcription.
CRY2 acts, in conjunction with CRY2, in maintaining period length and circadian rhythmicity.CRY2 has no photolyase activity.
CRY2 is capable of translocating circadian clock core proteins such as PER proteins to the nucleus.CRY2 may inhibit CLOCK NPAS2-ARNTL transcriptional activity through stabilizing the unphosphorylated form of ARNTL.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
