CHM binds unprenylated Rab proteins, presents it to the catalytic Rab GGTase dimer, and remains bound to it after the geranylgeranyl transfer reaction.
The component A is thought to be regenerated by transferring its prenylated Rab back to the donor membrane.The choroideremia gene encodes for a protein, the Rab escort protein-1 (REP1), which is involved in membrane trafficking.[supplied by OMIM].
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
