• Sodium-dependent aa transporter that has a broad substrate specificity, with a preference for zwitterionic aa’s.
• It accepts as substrates all neutral aa’s, including glutamine, asparagine, and branched-chain and aromatic aa’s, and excludes methylated, anionic, and cationic aa’s.
• May also be activated by insulin.
• Through binding of the fusogenic protein syncytin-1/ERVW-1 may mediate trophoblasts syncytialization, the spontaneous fusion of their plasma membranes, an essential process in placental development.
• Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000Immunohistochemistry: 1:20-1:200 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
• Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
