Bifunctional mRNA-capping enzyme exhibiting RNA 5￥'-triphosphatase activity in the N-terminal part and mRNA guanylyltransferase activity in the C-terminal part.
Catalyzes the first two steps of cap formation: by removing the gamma-phosphate from the 5￥'-triphosphate end of nascent mRNA to yield a diphosphate end, and by transferring the gmp moiety of GTP to the 5￥'-diphosphate terminal.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000Immunohistochemistry: 1:20-1:200Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
