Porcine IL-8 is an 11.63kD cytokine belonging to the chemokine C-X-C family.
Porcine IL-8 is a chemotactic cytokine secreted by a range of cell types such as macrophages, endothelial cells and epithelial cells in response to inflammation.
IL-8 induces chemotaxis of neutrophils and granulocytes to sites of infection.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 0.5-5ug/mlWestern Blot: 0.1-2ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
