A 16.6kD regulatory cytokine belonging to the IL-4 / IL-13 family.
IL-4 is expressed by a range of cells including B cells, macrophages and monocytes.
It plays an important role in the regulation of rabbit B cell responses, is involved in promoting secretion and cell surface expression of IgG1 and IgE, and with the regulation of CD23 expression on lymphocytes and monocytes.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 1-5ug/mlWestern Blot: 0.1-2ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
