- Palmitoyltransferase ZDHHC17 is an enzyme that contains a DHHC domain that in humans is encoded by theZDHHC17 gene.
- Palmitoyltransferase specific for a subset of neuronal proteins, including SNAP25, DLG4/PSD95, GAD2, SYT1 and HD.
- Palmitoylates MPP1 in erythrocytes.
- May be involved in the sorting or targeting of critical proteins involved in the initiating events of endocytosis at the plasma membrane.
- Has transforming activity.
- Mediates Mg2+ transport.
- Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:200-1:1000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
