特徴
- Vasohibin-1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the VASH1 gene.
- Angiogenesis inhibitor.
- Inhibits migration, proliferation and network formation by endothelial cells as well as angiogenesis.
- This inhibitory effect is selective to endothelial cells as it does not affect the migration of smooth muscle cells or fibroblasts.
- Does not affect the proliferation of cancer cells in vitro, but inhibits tumor growth and tumor angiogenesis.
- Acts in an autocrine manner.
- Inhibits artery neointimal formation and macrophage infiltration.
- Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 1:1000-2000Immunohistochemistry: 1:25-100Western Blot: 1:200-1000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
