特徴
- Excitatory amino-acid transporter 4 (EAAT4) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SLC1A6 gene.
- It is a member of the high-affinity glutamate and neutral amino acid-transporter family.
- It transports L-glutamate and also L- and D-aspartate predominantly in the cerebellar cortex.
- Genetic polymorphism in the SLC1A6 gene is suggested to be refered to glutamatergic dysfunction in schizophrenia pathogenesis.
- Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000Immunohistochemistry: 1:25-1:100Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
