JM4 (Jena-Muenchen 4), also known as PRAF2 (PRA1 domain family, member 2), is a 178aa endosomal multi-pass membrane protein involved in vesicular trafficking and Endoplasmic reticulum/Golgi transport.
As a member of the PRA1 family, JM4 contains four putative transmembrane (TM) domains, interacts with the CC chemokine receptor 5 (CCR5) and colocalizes with Calnexin in the ER and mannose 6-phosphate receptor (CD-MPR) in the Golgi apparatus.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry: 1:25-1:100Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
