- Ovalbumin (abbreviated OVA) is the main protein found in egg white, making up 60-65% of the total protein.
- Ovalbumin displays sequence and three-dimensional homology to the serpin superfamily, but unlike most serpins it is not a serine protease inhibitor.
- It is presumed to be a storage protein.
- Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.

- Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
