OASL encodes an interferon-induced protein that is a member of the 2-5A synthetase family.
2-prime,5-prime oligoadenylates (2-5As) bind to and activate RNase L, resulting in general RNA degradation and consequent inhibition of protein synthesis.
2-5As are produced by a well-conserved family of interferon-induced enzymes, the 2-5A synthetases or OASs

Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry: 1:25-1:100Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
