IkBNS, the nuclear IkB-like protein encoded by Nfkbid, is required for the development of marginal zone and peritoneal B-1 B cells and additionally required for extrafollicular antibody responses to T-independent and -dependent immunogens.
IkBNS has been identified as a member of the IkB family of NF-kB inhibitors, which undergoes induction upon TCR signaling.
IkBNS mediates both positive and negative gene regulation, depending on individual cell type and/or cytokine.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.

Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
