特徴
- This gene is a member of the melanoma antigen gene (MAGE) family.
- Most of the genes of this family encode tumor specific antigens that are not expressed in normal adult tissues except testis.
- Although the protein encoded by this gene shares strong homology with members of the MAGE family, it is expressed in almost all normal adult tissues.
- This gene has been demonstrated to be involved in the p75 neurotrophin receptor mediated programmed cell death pathway.
- Three transcript variants encoding two different isoforms have been found for this gene.
- Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000Immunohistochemistry: 1:25-1:100Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
