特徴
- This gene encodes an inosine triphosphate pyrophosphohydrolase.
- The encoded protein hydrolyzes inosine triphosphate and deoxyinosine triphosphate to the monophosphate nucleotide and diphosphate.
- This protein, which is a member of the HAM1 NTPase protein family, is found in the cytoplasm and acts as a homodimer.
- Defects in the encoded protein can result in inosine triphosphate pyrophosphorylase deficiency which causes an accumulation of ITP in red blood cells.
- Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
- Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:200-1000Immunohistochemistry: 1:10-50ELISA: 1:1000-2000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
