- IRS4 encodes the insulin receptor substrate 4, a cytoplasmic protein that contains many potential tyrosine and serine/threonine phosphorylation sites.
- Tyrosine-phosphorylated IRS4 protein has been shown to associate with cytoplasmic signalling molecules that contain SH2 domains.
- The IRS4 protein is phosphorylated by the insulin receptor tyrosine kinase upon receptor stimulation
- Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Immunohistochemistry: 1:20-1:100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
