特徴
- This protein belongs to the aldehyde dehydrogenase family of proteins.
- It has a high activity for oxidation of gamma-aminobutyraldehyde and other amino aldehydes.
- The enzyme catalyzes the dehydrogenation of gamma-aminobutyraldehyde to gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA).
- This isozyme is a tetramer of identical 54-kD subunits.
- Converts gamma-trimethylaminobutyraldehyde into gamma-butyrobetaine.
- Catalyzes the irreversible oxidation of a broad range of aldehydes to the corresponding acids in an NAD-dependent reaction.
- Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:200-1:1000Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:200Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
