Neuronal PAS domain-containing protein 2 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the NPAS2 gene.
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH)-PAS family of transcription factors.
A similar mouse protein may play a regulatory role in the acquisition of specific types of memory.
It also may function as a part of a molecular clock operative in the mammalian forebrain.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 0.1-0.5ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C.
Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
Reconstitute with sterile dH2O.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
