CD40 is a member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor superfamily and is the receptor for the CD40 ligand (CD40L).
CD40 has at least 2 isoforms produced by alternate splicing.
Isoform 1 is a single-pass type 1 membrane protein.
Isoform 2 is a secreted protein.
Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, ELISA.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 0.1-0.5ug/mlImmunohistochemistry (paraffin): 0.5-1ug/mlELISA: 0.1-0.5ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C.
Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C.
Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
